Perspective

You may have read the news stories about the snow in the UK.

I'm sorry, I mean the snow in the UK. Blizzard conditions. Thousands stranded. The country at a standstill!

To answer the question a few people have asked me, no, there isn't any snow where I live. There hasn't been any. I mean, a bit has fallen from the sky, but none of it has stuck, so it's less of an annoyance and more pretty. And more, you know, to be expected in winter.

Because snow emergency in the UK? Really just means snow emergency in London. Because the news people have a habit of never leaving the capitol. Then again, with all the trains and buses cancelled, and warnings to stay off the roads if you can, I'm not sure how they'd get out at this point.
