Cat Scratch Fever
Remember how just a few entries ago I laid out how much it was going to cost to get my cats shipped over to the UK? And I said that it was completely worth it, even though it's costing as much to send them as it is to send me and all of the rest of my stuff combined? And I love them anyway, and wouldn't want to move without them?
Yeah, I think the fat shy one may have talked herself out of her ticket.
The guy cleaning the carpet who is the one that freaked her out in the first place? He's fine. She wouldn't go near him. It's just the person that feeds you and cares for you that you attack when freaked out I guess. The scratch coming out from the corner of my mouth is particularly attractive, I think. My arms are also a bit torn up, but not nearly as impressively.
So, what story should I tell about this when I go to work on Monday? Or when I get home to DC for that matter, because with as slowly as I heal and as much as cat scratches like to stick around, I may just have these until I leave the country.
Stupid cats.

Ouch. Just another reason I like dogs.
Tell people you were the victor in a knife fight. That's pretty hot.

Dogs bite. Cats rule.
However, gentle hugs to you.

Yikes! Don't mean to scare you, but I actually have a cousin who got cat-scrach fever. The area got inflamed and she had to have some kind of surgery done. Scary...

You know, I always let my oldest use me as a stepstool when he needs to get to high places, so I never understand why sometimes he WILL. NOT. WAIT. until I bend over and instead flings himself on my back, only to slide down like so many Tom & Jerry cartoons.
But the neck, she is impressive.

Ouch. I have been there. Say you got into a fight with a poltergeist; that's always fun.
