Mom's Project: The Results
Remember when I mentioned that my mom needed a project? Where her house arrest made her so crazy that she craved something...anything...to do. So, when I brought her a project for the Week of One Color, she jumped on it like Uno on his catnip mouse. With so much voracity that she tore it up.
Well today was the day that I wore it. I represented "1950s Americana" or something. I don't know. I was supposed to represent the United States in this Color of the Week Around the World thing. I'm not sure why they said poodle skirt, but they did. But since all the poodles I found were lame, I did it up my way. If you look really closely, you can see a guitar and a skull on a pink heart. I am 1950/1990s Rockstar Poodle Skirt Barbie. Or something. Whatever. It was my twist on something that was kind of lame.
But damn I looked good. Hooray for wearing costumes to work! One more day and then we get back to normal. And I swear after tomorrow I won't be wearing the Color of the Week until July at least so help me.

Awesome! Where on Earth did you find those shoes?
I've just finished catching up on all your posts since September. The cat is adorable! Glad he's stopped meowing and that he's doing well since his surgery.
Glad your mom is doing well too. She sounds like a trooper!
