Pedicures
Jeff took Uno to the vet yesterday for his shots and to be declawed. (And no. I have no interest in hearing how barbaric declawing is.) If it saves my couch and my skin, I'm all for it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sad that he's all groggy and limpy, but I know in the long run it is the right decision. Anyways, Jeff brought him home today. So far he's done a fine job laying around and recovering. He's very good at staying off his feet.
My mom on the other hand is currently under house arrest. She is annoyed that she's expected to stay off her feet as she's not completely healed. In fact she said to me the other day that she's "annoyed that everyone is treating her like an 85 year old woman." I responded that she "should quit having procedures done on 85 year old women."
She has however given me a task that I must finish before the weekend. I have to finish this task so that she can have a project over the next week or so. She's given me homework. It involved math. I'm scared.
Maybe if I'll take Uno over it will distract her enough and they can commiserate on their injuries. If a cat is on her lap, she'll have to stay still right?

Is a kitten too much weight to put on the lap of a person who had a hip replaced?
If not, then yes, you aren't allowed to move when you have a cat on your lap. I got out of emptying the dishwasher many times with that excuse.
