I woke up this morning the same way I did five years ago. Late. I slept in this morning after a long weekend at Grapefest (a post on that later). I woke up not knowing what I was going to do this day the same way I did five years ago. I woke up unemployed today the same way I did five years ago.

However, I also had a Big Event today like I did four years ago. Four years ago I had a meeting with the president and communications director of the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Assocation. Today, I had a second interview for a job I really want. I like to make big steps in my professional career on this day apparently.

So, just as the world stopped five years ago, the world continues her journey forward today. There are big dates in American history that everyone will remember: December 7, 1941. April 19, 1995. June 16, 1215. November 20, 1963. December 21, 1978. August 26, 2005. And September 11, 2001 will be no different. We will remember, and life will go on just as it always has.
